Sacred Hearts: A Novel begins in 1570, Ferrara, Italy at the Convent of Santa Caterina. We meet Serafina, a new novice at 16 years of age who is banished there for life. A wonderful but heart-breaking love story set during the renaissance. I love fictional history.SRC
